THE

NOVA GLOW GUIDE

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS

  • WHEN TO ARRIVE

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, settle in, and begin to unwind. First-time clients will sign a liability waiver at check-in (or in advance) and get a brief orientation, so you can feel confident and supported from the moment you walk in. We invite you to silence your phone and take this time just for you.

  • LATE ARRIVAL

If you arrive after class has started, we allow a 5-minute grace period before we're no longer able to let you in — setup and safety cueing happen right at the start, so a late entry can disrupt the room for everyone else.

  • WHAT TO WEAR

Wear comfortable, form-fitted clothing that allows freedom of movement and helps your instructor see your alignment.

  • GRIP SOCKS

Required for all Nova (reformer) classes, for safety on the reformer's foot bar and carriage. Recommended, though not required, for Glow (mat) classes. Bring your own, or shop our curated selection at The Edit.

  • TOWELS

Required for all Glow (mat) classes. We provide the mats and props, but bringing your own towel, or renting one at the front desk for $2, keeps your practice comfortable in our heated room.

  • WATER

Hydration supports recovery and radiance. Filtered water is available in-studio for refills. Bottled water and other beverages are available for purchase at The Edit.

  • PAYMENT

Nova Glow is a cashless studio — we accept credit and debit only.

  • WHERE TO PARK

Limited street parking is available directly in front of the studio and around the building. Additional (free) parking can be found in the PACE Center lot across the street, and there are public parking spaces available in the Juniper lot behind the building. Downtown Parker can be busy, so we recommend allowing a few extra minutes to arrive, park, and settle in.

  • PERSONAL ITEMS

Cubbies are available for your personal belongings during class. They don't lock, so we recommend leaving valuables at home or in your car, but if you need a hand storing something during class, just ask us at the front desk. Nova Glow Studio isn't responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • THE CLASSES

All Nova and Glow classes are 50 minutes long. Reformer classes are held in the Nova Studio; mat classes are held in the Glow Studio. Light Up (standalone red light) sessions run 20 minutes; Heat Up (solo infrared sauna) sessions run 40 minutes.

  • LIGHT UP

Light Up is self-serve — your twenty minutes are yours to use however feels good: stretch, meditate, or simply sit and let the light of our medical grade red light panels do the work. If you're sensitive to bright light, just ask the front desk for a pair of light-blocking glasses.

For best results, we recommend as much skin exposure as you're comfortable with — light works more effectively with less fabric in the way.

  • HEAT UP

Heat Up sessions take place in a single-person infrared sauna. Stay hydrated, listen to your body, and step out at any time if you feel overheated, lightheaded, or unwell.

  • SAFETY & HEALTH

At minimum, please wear a sports bra and shorts (or the equivalent); Nova Glow is not a clothing-optional studio.

Please review our Terms of Service and liability waiver for contraindications and other health considerations before your first Glow class, Light Up session, or Heat Up session, and let our team know so we can help you make the most of your visit.

  • THE GLOW ROOM

Our Glow Studio is comfortably heated to 90–95°F using ceiling-mounted infrared panels, designed to support circulation and flexibility without feeling overwhelming. Every Glow class also includes a full-size, wall-mounted red light panel at each mat station. If you'd rather skip it, just ask your instructor to turn off the panel at your station — no need to explain why. If you're sensitive to bright light, light-blocking glasses are provided upon request. As with any heated class, stay hydrated, listen to your body, and don't hesitate to pause, modify, or step out at any time if you feel overheated, lightheaded, or unwell — just let your instructor know.

  • IF YOU'RE NEW TO PILATES

We welcome all experience levels. If you're new to reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with our complimentary Nova Intro class or a private session to get comfortable with setup, transitions, and safety. If the reformer feels intimidating, Glow Flow is a beautiful place to begin: an infrared-heated mat class focused on foundational strength, control, and body awareness in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Our instructors offer thoughtful guidance and modifications throughout every class, so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.

  • COMMUNICATION & CARE

Share any injuries, limitations, or prenatal details before class so your instructor can tailor your experience. If you're pregnant, please check with your doctor first — Glow, Light Up, and Heat Up all involve heat or light exposure that may not be right for pregnancy.
